Mensch-Maschine Interaktion
Im Bereich Mensch-Maschine Interaktion beschäftigt wir uns mit der benutzergerechten Gestaltung von interaktiven Systemen. Ziele sind die Untersuchung der Bedingungen der Nutzung sowie die Akzeptanz neuer Technologien.
Sozialwissenschaftlich rücken Fragen nach dem sozio-materiellen Kontext, den Erwartungen, Erfahrungen und Praktiken der Nutzer/innen sowie der Einbindung in bestehende Gruppen und Organisationen in den Blick. Untersucht werden (1.) die Auswirkung auf Interaktionsverhalten und -interpretation der Nutzer/innen, (2.) die Entwicklungsphasen der Systeme und (3.) das Verhältnis der Nutzer- und Entwicklerperspektiven zueinander in der Praxis.
Die Forschungsprojekte verstehen sich als Bindeglied zwischen Entwickler/innen und Nutzer/innen und wollen im Sinne eines Participatory Design gegenseitige Lernprozesse anstoßen, fördern und begleiten, um auf dieser Basis lebensnahe Produkte zu entwickeln.
Human-computer interaction
Human-computer interaction is traditionally concerned with the user-friendly design of interactive systems. It aims both to examine the conditions of use given by the fact of interaction, and to enable acceptance of new technologies.
In the socio-scientific aspect questions are asked concerning the socio-material context, the expectations, experience and practice of the users, and integration into existing groups and organizations. The following are examined: (1) the effects of user interaction behavior and interpretation, (2) the system development phases, and (3) the relationship of user and developer perspectives in practice.
The research projects are understood as link between developers and users; and are meant to initiate, support and accompany mutual learning processes in the sense of participatory design, in order to develop true-to-life products.
